UPDATE: Channel Closure
Extended to
May 27, 2022

“Attached please find our Contractor’s  request to extend the current channel closure for ongoing bridge demolition operations over the channel through the week of 5/27/2022. The Contractor will open the channel for boating use for the weekend (5/20 to 5/22) and Monday (5/23), with the closure resuming Tuesday 5/24 through Friday 5/27.

This will allow all concrete demolition work within Span 1 to be completed and demo barges to be cleaned and relocated outside of the 75’ channel.”
