Seeking Grant Writers and Student Interns

Seeking Grant Writers and Student Interns

The LZA is actively seeking volunteer grant writers to apply for a variety of local state and federal funding opportunities. The LZA applies to several grants a year and receives funding to ensure water quality and safety on the lake, but needs help to make efforts more manageable.

The prospective writer would work with Commissioner Barbara McWilliams and Chairman Gary Fillion to coordinate projects. The LZA is open to most opportunities and ideas, and is interested in working with all volunteers, for example, individuals within the communities surrounding the lake, students, educational institutions, private entities, etc. The LZA also invites students seeking internships to collaborate with us.

Volunteers are needed to help apply to already existing grant applications, or to even pitch their own unique proposals. The opportunities are broad.
